Anchor tattoos were all the rage for sailors. It was often the symbol of a very experienced sailor. Anchor tattoo designs are one of the oldest types of tattoos. I’ve wanted an anchor tattoo ever for about 6 years now. I got the idea from Hebrews 6:19 which says “we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure”. It also is a symbol that has shown up no matter where I am and continues to remind me that I am anchored to something greater than myself.
