Heart tattoos

Heart tattoos can represent a multitude of things. In a religious sense a heart tattoo is usually the Christian symbol of a sacred heart. A sacred heart tattoo means devotion to the Divine Heart of Christ insofar as His Heart represents and recalls His love for us. Sacred heart designs can also be found in the "Religious Tattoos" category. Other meanings can be true love, compassion or courage. Heart tattoos often are shown as a representation of grief, love loss or as a memorial to the deceased.

The heart is among the most valuable and precious organ gifted to us by God. It not only keeps us alive but its the seat of the tenderness, warmness, love, affection and sentiments. A heartless person is no better than dead. That may be the reason people like to carve a Heart tattoo to show their love, affection and thought process to others.

Heart tattoos are not just made of simple heart designs, they also include different shapes and designs. Generally there is a distinct classification of tattoos for men and tattoos for girls. However, heart tattoo designs are such that they can be etched by both women and men. There are many heart tattoo designs such as heart(s) tattoos with cupid, heart tattoo designs with two lovebirds, or lady bug in the heart tattoo. Women mostly choose heart tattoos with some flower tattoo design in it. The designs of the heart tattoos also depends on the part of the body where it is done. If it is done on the wrist its obviously going to be small and simple whereas if it is done on the arm, it will be detailed.
